b. Portfolio and Simulation Data

• Asset symbols, quantities, prices, margin settings, and other inputs you enter manually or upload (e.g., via CSV)
• Scenario and simulation inputs used to calculate margin risk

We do not request, collect, or store brokerage login credentials.
Margin SIM does not connect to or access your brokerage accounts.

c. Usage and Technical Data

• Interaction data such as feature usage, button clicks, and navigation patterns
• General device and browser information (non-identifying)

2. How We Use Your Information

We use collected information solely to:

• Provide and operate Margin SIM
• Perform margin simulations and display results
• Improve features, usability, and performance
• Manage subscriptions and payments
• Respond to support requests
• Maintain security and prevent abuse

We do not sell your personal data.

3. Third-Party Services

We rely on trusted third-party providers to operate certain aspects of the App.

a. Analytics — PostHog

We use PostHog to understand how users interact with the App (e.g., feature usage and navigation patterns).

This data helps us improve usability and performance.
Analytics data is not used to identify individual users.

b. AI Explanations — OpenAI

When you request an AI Explanation, relevant portfolio and simulation data (such as asset symbols and values) is sent to OpenAI to generate a plain-English explanation.

• We do not send account credentials or personal identifiers beyond what is necessary.
• Data sent to OpenAI is used solely to generate your response.
• This data is not used to train OpenAI models, per OpenAI's API terms.

c. Payments — Stripe

All payments are processed securely by Stripe.

• We do not store or process credit card information.
• Payment details are handled directly by Stripe in accordance with their privacy and security practices.

4. Data Security

We implement reasonable, industry-standard security measures to protect your information.

However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

5. Data Retention

We retain your information only for as long as necessary to provide the App and comply with legal or operational requirements.

Portfolio and simulation data is retained only while your account is active, unless otherwise required for legitimate business purposes.

6. Your Rights and Choices

You may:

• Request deletion of your account and associated portfolio data
• Request access to or correction of your personal information
• Discontinue use of the App at any time

7. Children's Privacy

Margin SIM is not intended for use by individuals under the age of 18.

Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
