Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Margin SIM application ("Margin SIM," "the App"), which is operated by Cyaniki Labs, LLC ("Cyaniki," "we," "us," or "our").

By accessing or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

1. Nature of the Service

Margin SIM is a margin risk simulation and educational tool. The App is designed to help users understand margin mechanics and margin risk using user-provided data and hypothetical scenarios.

Margin SIM:

  • does not execute or place trades,
  • does not connect to brokerage accounts,
  • does not transmit orders,
  • and is not a brokerage, exchange, or financial platform.

All outputs are simulations and illustrations only.

2. No Financial Advice

The App, including any AI-generated explanations, analyses, or summaries, does not provide financial, investment, legal, or tax advice.

Nothing in the App constitutes a recommendation to buy, sell, hold, or avoid any security, asset, or strategy. All calculations represent "what-if" scenarios based solely on information entered by the user.

You are solely responsible for your financial decisions. You should consult a qualified professional before making any real-world trading or investment decisions.

3. No Brokerage Affiliation

Margin SIM is an independent service.

Cyaniki Labs, LLC is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or partnered with Robinhood Markets, Inc. or any other brokerage, exchange, or financial institution.

References to Robinhood or other platforms are used solely for explanatory or comparative purposes.

4. Accuracy, Assumptions, and Risk

While we aim to model margin mechanics accurately, including Robinhood-style behavior when explicitly enabled, we do not guarantee that the App's results will match your actual brokerage account, margin requirements, buying power, liquidation behavior, or trading restrictions.

Brokerage rules may change at any time and may vary based on asset type, account status, regulatory requirements, or undisclosed internal factors.

You acknowledge and agree that:

  • margin trading involves substantial risk,
  • simulated results may differ materially from real-world outcomes,
  • and any reliance on the App is entirely at your own risk.

5. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Cyaniki Labs, LLC, Margin SIM, and their officers, members, employees, contractors, and agents shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages, including but not limited to:

  • financial losses,
  • margin calls,
  • forced liquidations,
  • lost profits,
  • trading losses,
  • brokerage account deficits or restrictions,

arising from or related to your use of or reliance on the App.

Your sole remedy for dissatisfaction with the App is to discontinue use.

6. User Responsibility

You are responsible for:

  • the accuracy and completeness of all data you enter,
  • how you interpret the App's outputs,
  • and any actions you take based on those outputs.

The App does not verify user inputs and assumes all inputs are correct.

7. Subscriptions, Payments, and Refunds

Certain features of Margin SIM require payment.

All payments are processed by or on behalf of Cyaniki Labs, LLC, the operator of Margin SIM.

Subscription terms, pricing, and billing intervals are disclosed at the time of purchase. Unless otherwise explicitly stated:

  • All sales are final, including lifetime or founder plans.
  • Refunds are not provided once access to paid features has been granted.

We reserve the right to modify pricing, features, or subscription plans at any time.

8. Changes to the Service

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the App at any time, with or without notice.

This includes changes to:

  • calculations,
  • assumptions,
  • features,
  • user interface,
  • availability, or pricing.

Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of those changes.

9. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to the App at our discretion, including for misuse, abuse, fraud, or violation of these Terms.

Termination does not entitle you to a refund.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles.
